Outremont Theatre

Client: City of Montreal – Outremont Theatre. The project required a complete and accurate 3D survey of the building to provide a reliable digital basis for renovation and coordination work.

Work performed: We established geodetic control points, performed 3D scanning using high-precision terrestrial scanners, cleaned and georeferenced the point clouds, and delivered the data in structured formats compatible with REVIT. Partial modeling of the existing elements was also performed to create an interactive digital model accessible online.

Deliverables: The results included complete and georeferenced point clouds in .e57 and .rcs formats, an interactive digital model, a work plan with a schedule, and a compliance report signed and sealed by a land surveyor.

Benefit: This approach reduced on-site trips, improved communication and coordination between stakeholders, and facilitated rapid and accurate validation of response plans.
